Colinas Farming Company is proud to announce our participation in the Napa Green Commute Challenge. This is the first ever commute challenge in the Napa County organized by the Solano Napa Commuter Information (SNCI).
We are working with SNCI from September through November of 2012 to encourage as many employees as possible to try a commute alternative (other than driving alone to work) such as carpooling, vanpooling, public transit, bicycling or walking to work.
The Napa Green Commute Challenge offer rewards for both employers and its employees. One of these rewards is “The Outstanding Commuter Award”. The employee who uses alternative transportation more than anyone else at our company during the Commute Challenge will receive $100 in Commute Bucks plus be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing for $500 in Commute Bucks*.
Also, Colinas Farming Company has a chance to win the Commute Champion Workplace. If we are able to rally more than 20 employees to meet the Napa Green Commute Challenge, we will receive $100 in Commute Bucks plus our company will be entered into a drawing for a Reno Holiday for two.
The Solano Napa Commuter Information (SNCI) offers personalized assistance for traveling around Solano/Napa Counties and neighboring cities. SNCI is a public agency program with free information and services for using alternative transportation in Solano and Napa Counties and surrounding regions.
